From Small Beginnings...
Greetings beautiful people of the world.
Let me say this upfront. I'm an individual of the world, same as you, that felt convinced they should begin a blog. I knew I was wrong when picking the image you see dangling above this shabby writing, took me longer than writing what your brain now analyzes. I am not a writer and I won't pretend I don't laugh at cat videos. I know this is a bad idea BUT who hasn't had an idea creep into their waking thoughts? Who hasn't had a dream dealing with aliens and thought to themselves "Dude, I am a gem among giants and people should see me shine". I am the fool who was convinced by the world that I am a unique and astonishing snowflake that deserves to have a voice among the masses. I'm not the judge and neither are you. You're an audience.
Knowing myself, quite well I might add, makes me say though that I truly have not earned the time in your lives it has taken you to drag your eyes from left to right along your digital window. Once read, this will have gone from having potential energy (physics lesson: energy stored in a system of forcefully interacting physical entity), to the understood and lame kinetic energy (the kinetic energy of an object is the energy which it possesses due to its motion) we all know. Bear with me. Discard the minimal amounts of physics taught in public schools that you may know (I went to public school thus I can say whatever it is I would like to). Let's go full figurative language here. Potential energy, in a non-physicists mind, can be described as the energy an object is capable of. The potential it has. Kinetic energy is the reality of the reaction between the outside world/settings. The potential energy could by all means, be infinite. The kinetic energy though can, by definition, not be. It is bound by reason and thus is never quite up to par with potential energy in my book. Let me explain but with an example. Don't leave QUITE yet.
I could say that whole science spiel about a roller coaster. The cart reaches the top of the first hill. The moment before it ventures down the track is the potential part. The kinetic kicks in once you begin the journey. BUT, who hasn't heard that, been tested on it and thought it unimaginative. I want to make you think and think illogically at that and this will not cut it.
Remember that last scary movie you watched? The creepy and spooky one, not the gore and guts one. Yes, that one precisely. Well, remember how terrifying the dark and cloaked figure was? Looming at the end of the shadowed hallway, in a mirror or underneath the bed merely waiting. For what? It is assumed he is there to perform dark, twisted and malicious things to your soul and/or body. The moments leading up to the reveal of his master plan and dark ways are in no way even remotely touched by the following scenes of the reveal. People live for the unknown. Most would debate that the unknown is really what terrifies mankind the most. I am not talking about what happens when you die etc. I am talking about each moment in our small and trivial lives. How each moment has infinite potential but once solidified loses luster. Honestly though, how SCARY is having long metal claw/talons inserted into your abdomen? Zip. Painful and threatening but not theatrically terrifying. It's the anticipation we thrive on. When, where, oh god and with WHAT?!
Circling back here, I and the other public mouths are doing ourselves and the public a disservice by writing personal thoughts. You spot a guy at the coffee shop and suddenly every movement of your body becomes a conscious decision. He is mysteriously and smolderingly reading an untitled novel and you suddenly feel a universe away from his natural allure. Well, he has entire conversations by showing memes, has a lisp and is in fact NOT reading a mysterious novel. He is searching for sex scenes in a weird smut book that he defaced as to avoid public humiliation. He is not as cool as he was before reality caused dawn on this dark and mysterious night; neither is anyone really, including myself.
Wait, in writing you have to sum up your ideas and form a master point? Good, I was never too fond of rules. Hahaha, remember that people see what you wish them to see. They are more than the false facade they hold your attention with. This blog will not be a diary but it will be my opinions chiseled into stone for all to see, make presumptions and solidify who I am as a person. Let's see where this goes Beautiful People of the World; I would love to change the way you drink your pop. Plus, by demystifying myself I feel as though that is like being in a relationship with all of you. Don't forget, Valentines Day is up and coming. It's also my favorite holiday. I expect wizards.
I will always expect wizards.
